Max Key - one-half of the DJ duo Troskey – has an exciting new radio show as part of George FM Nights with Jay Bulletproof.
‘Key’d In’ will be a 60-minute show with “the tunes and sounds that move Max,” SCOUT can exclusivey reveal.
The show starts Tuesday, February 16 [2016] at 10pm.
Key, no stranger to producing beats, is one-half of the DJ duo Troskey with his friend Joshua Troskie.
They played at the Spring Break event in Fiji in November, where Elizabeth Donnelly, Kim Dotcom’s new girlfriend, was an avid fan and snapped in a clinch with Key.
The George team met Max at that event and were impressed by how passionate he is about his craft, and how seriously he takes music.
Willy Macalister, programme director at George, says Key “is a top guy, humble, down to earth and enthusiastic about music. He deserves the same shot as everyone else out there.”
He added: “His pending single release and involvement with the station showcases just how far he has come in a short space of time.”
George Nights is about uncovering new talent and breaking new music.
Key, a 21-year-old business student at Auckland University, has proven he is a solid DJ and his production skills look set to take him a long way.
Key can be heard on-air with George tonight at 6pm talking about his new show.
