CONTED SERIES 4 - PACIFIC ISLAND LIFEWAYS
A series of 6 x 30 minute programmes about the people of the Pacific Islands which will look at the attitudes, customs, and lifestyles of people in the six main island groups from which migrants come to New Zealand - the Cook Islands, Fiji, Niue, the Tokelaus, Tonga and Western Samoa.
15-20 minutes of each programme will be given to documentary -type exploration of an aspect of life in the islands that will be contrasted with the adjustments that face Pacific Islander who come to New Zealand.
The rest of the programme will profile a member of the Pacific Island community who will discuss their personal background and experience of settling in New Zealand.
