Niu FM (Radio station : Auckland, N.Z.), Broadcaster

A two-hour off-air recording of Niu FM (104.1FM in Christchurch).
Niu FM is New Zealand’s first national Pacific radio station, funded by the government through the National Pacific Radio Trust (NPRT). It began broadcasting in August 2002, and is described as "where Pacific communities in Aotearoa come together to share news, information and fresh Pacific rhythms".
This recording on June 5, 2003 was done two days after the NPRT cancelled its contract with Pacifika Communication Network Ltd (PCNL) to run Niu FM, over concerns of financial mismanagement, governance and conflict of interest.
