One of a series of Nine to Noon interviews broadcast in December 2004 of people who were prominent in the news during the year.
This is Auckland Crown Prosecutor Simon Moore, who prosecuted nine Pitcairn Islanders on sex abuse charges. He was one of three barristers photographed at sea wearing red wigs and plastic breasts, on their way back to New Zealand from Pitcairn. They said the hijinks were at the request of the boat's captain as part of a ritual associated with crossing the Equator.

The recording begins with the 11am news, trailer & weather read by Nicola Wright.
07'25" Interview begins. He talks about the Pitcairn Island court case, the island's future, the embarrassing photos etc.
35'35" Book review: John McCrystal talks about Ladders To Fire and Children of the Albatross by Anais Nin.
46'35 Wayne Mowat previews his programme, then 15'15" regular slot called Chewing the Fat with Fran Walsh and David Slack.
