Lion Breweries promotional jingle for the New Zealand team at the 1984 Olympic Games.

This recording features two versions/edits. Both finish with the announcement: "Lion Breweries - Proud to be helping New Zealand stars shine brightly at the '84 Olympic Games"

[This is a reworking of the 1980 song by "Black Bolt and the Silver Ferns" which was an All Black rugby promotional release.]

This 1984 Lion Breweries "Olympics" version was developed by DM&M Auckland, with concept/lyrics by Grant Marshall and new verse music, arrangement and production by Bruce Lynch (produced at Mandrill Recording, Auckland).
