The three-hour recording of Linda Clark's final day as host of Nine to Noon begins with the 9am news read by Nicola Wright.
Between 9am and 10am, Linda interviews Green Party co-leader Jeanette Fitzsimons, the Minister Responsible for Climate Change David Parker, National Party spokesperson Nick Smith, Māori Party spokesperson Dr Pita Sharples about an earlier interview with Hawkes Bay peak oil campaigner Peter Lloyd who says oil production is at its peak, and reserves are now running out. At 35'00 Mr Lloyd joins the discussion.
48'15" Phil O'Sullivan reports on events in Asia.
After the 10am news, Linda talks to Joan Didion, author of "A Year of Magical Thinking"; John McIntyre on children's books (The works of Beatrix Potter); then Episode 15 of Deep Beyond the Reef, written and read by Owen Scott about the aftermath of his brother's murder in Fiji.
After the 11am news, Linda talks to Manu Taylor about his music choices this week which are the group Over the Rhine - album Films for Radio, Cake - Fashion Nuggets and, Robert Earl Keen - Gringo Honeymoon. Murray Weatherston is interviewed about financial matters and finally, Te Radar in Auckland and Jon Gadsby in Christchurch discuss the week that was.
