New Zealand businessman Balu Khan has been released on bail in Fiji after pleading not guilty to three counts of conspiracy to murder, in a special court hearing in Suva last night, just hours after being released from hospital. 24'15" New Zealand cricket umpire Billy Bowden has been called in to officiate at the third Test between Australia and India following the row which has threatened the entire series. Amid the controversy, there's been a call for Australian captain Ricky Ponting to resign over the team's conduct. 28'05" In 1967 theologian Professor Lloyd Geering was tried for heresy by the Presbyterian church in New Zealand, following the publication of two controversial articles. However, the assembly eventually judged that no error had been proved, dismissed the charges and declared the case closed.
