Tagata o te Moana is a weekly Pacific programme, broadcast on Radio New Zealand National (Saturdays at 5.30pm). It features news, interviews, and discussion of issues. Presented by Don Wiseman.

The programme for 15 December 2007 includes the following:
- Solomon Islands is to get a new government next week.
- Tuvalu slams the leadership in developed countries on climate change.
- Calls for a new approach to end the tensions in Tonga.
- A group of indigenous Chamorro people in Guam is fighting plans for a military build up there.
- Concerns about the welfare of Pacific Islanders coming to New Zealand under the new guest worker scheme.
- The end of the Nauru detention camp is called an act of common sense and decency.
- Samoa this coming week is likely to see protests over driving on the other side of the road.
