South to Otago

- Griffiths, scene set at Dunedin railway station.
- Griffiths as Queen emerges from the station, cheering and car moves off.
- McIntyre in Princes Street, crowds and decorations.
- Parke at Law Courts Hotel. Cars approach down Stuart Street. Cheering. Car stops and Queen inside.
- Sceats at Longbeach. Cars arriving. Glorious weather. Queen from house, speaks to Mr. and Mrs. Grigg and then to car.
- Don Donaldson at civic reception at Ashbury Park, Timaru as car arrives and Queen walks down the hill to the dais.
- Bernard Kearns describes floral pathway the Queen takes to dais.
- Mayor's address of welcome by Mr. R. E. White.
- Queen's reply.
- Morris as royal train leaves Timaru.
- Donaldson interviews A. Williamson, leader of a group of Samoan Boy Scouts presented to the Queen after the Timaru reception. He explains that the Scouts have been attending a jamborette at Motukarara. The boys introduce themselves and give greetings in Samoan.
