The interview begins with Brian Edwards quoting from an October copy of Time Magazine which features Georgina Beyer having recently been elected as mayor of Carterton. They discuss her early life and difficult teenage years. Georgina talks through sex and gender definitions before moving onto her move to Wellington and coming out to her family. They return to the period of her initial transition where she became involved in a scene of prostitution before Brian asks about her leap from that lifestyle to Carterton. They briefly touch on her entertainment work and how it lead to her moving into campaigning and eventually council. She speaks about her time meeting Queen Elizabeth II at a royal garden party. Brian returns to discussing Georgina's acting career before closing out the interview.
