This group represented N.Z. at the 1974 Papua New Guinea Festival of Arts. The members were from SOUTH TARANAKI, AUCKLAND ANGLICAN, Ngāti RANGIWEWEHI and MA WAI HAKONA Māori Clubs. This first Action Song was composed by Dovey Katene-Horvarth, the leader of MA WAI HAKONA.

01 "I Nga Ra O Mua" - Action Song (1'14" - 3'34")

The group was led by the Reverend Napi Waaka and these items were performed at the Governments request at the 1975 N.Z. Polynesian Festival of Arts held at Okara Park, Whangarei.

02 "Kia Ngawari" - Choral - (3'52" - 6'43")

This composite group from the four Māori Clubs were acclaimed at the Papua New Guinea Festival of Arts, and it was also very popular with the vast audience present at the 1975 N.Z. Polynesian Festival of Arts at Whangarei.

03 "Toia Mai Te Waka Pai" - Poi - Composed by the Reverend Kingi Ihaka - (7'12" - 8'58")

After returning from their two week visit to represent N.Z. at Port Moresby, this composite group were not able to tour the country. Hence their performances at Waitangi and Whangarei were the only opportunity that the public had to see them.
