Rita McGregor from Greytown and Ray Horomona from Hokianga are two young Māori who have left their homes in the country to live and work in the city.

They are interviewed about their views on city life. Rita is a student in Wellington. Ray talks about the changes he has experienced, coming from a tight-knit Māori community to live in the city, where he works as a salesman.
