MALIETOA TANUMAFILI the second (His Highness) Head of State of Western Samoa, formally represented his country during celebrations marking the 25th anniversary of Dame Te Atatirangikaahu;s leadership of the Māori Kiingitanga movement, popularly refeered to as her coronation as Māori Queen.

His highness is speaking during the commemorative celebrations held in Ngaruawahia.

Also a Hawaiian speaker speaks on behalf of the leader of the Hawaiian contigent, Keke Auriki Kawana-Nakoa. She follows the speech with a song.

His Majesty, King Taufa'ahau the fourth, presents a message to Te Arikinui, Dame Te Atairangikaahu specially recorded for Te Reo O Aotearoa's broadcasts.
