In this programme, Aiao Kaulima, Niue's most senior diplomat, defends the reputation of murdered New Zealand Resident Commissioner Hector Larsen. Last year, Dick Scott's book "Would a Good Man Die?" painted a very negative picture of Larsen's behaviour and implied he brought his murder upon himself, when he was killed on Niue in 1953.
Aiao Kaulima is Niue's new Consul-General in Auckland and remembers Larsen well, as he was Kaulima's first boss and was on the island at the time of the murder. He says Larsen was not the monster the book makes him out to be.

Iaveta Arthur speaks on overseas borrowing which is the main issue in Cook Islands election.

In addition, Mr. Don McKinnon opens the first joint Pacific Islands' Pre School centre. Mr. Don McKinnon is Minister of Pacific Islands' Affairs.
