"Maioha" is a project undertaken by the Freemans Bay branch of the NZ Māori Women's Welfare League during 1993, to mark the United Nations Year of Indigenous Peoples and also the centenary of women's suffrage in Aotearoa.

Sixteen Māori women have been interviewd regarding their vision aspirations and success in whatever field of endeavour they have chosen.

This programme features an interview with Hine Potaka, former President of the Māori Women's Welfare League and a successful kiwi fruit horticulturist.
