The 1981 NZ Polynesian Festival had some very flamboyant and colourful competitors. The Cook Island, Aitutaki Enua group (Auckland) was no exception, here we listen to their competitive items.

AITUTAKI open their performance with a CHORAL item: "Ko koe te wairua mou."

Next is a HAKA about " RU" Ru is refered to as a person similar to Kupe.

The following item is similar to our action song called "Noho ake ra e Tupu Ariki." then follows there waka song, Hoia ra te waka nei, Haere mai e hine ma e.
