Aitutaki Enua Cook Islands group of Auckland is led by its founder, Ratu Daniela. The group is recognised as an outstanding exponent of Cook Islands' culture particularly from Aitutaki.

The performance begins with the choral item conducted by No'o Paniora.

The group performs The Legend of Ru. Ru is an eponymous ancestor of the Cook's group. It is thought that there is more than one Ru.

This legend recounts Ru's discovery of Aitutaki which he named, Araura Enua. His vaka, Ngapuariki landed on the island or motu of Akitua. One of Ru's brothers was killed when Ngapuariki was being hauled ashore on wooden rollers.
