Te Reo o Aotearoa operates its works in seven languages: English, Māori, Samoan, Cook Island Māori, Niuean, Tuvaluan and Tongan.
The broadcasts includes news, current affairs programmes, social and political comment, music, eyewitness accounts in different languages.

A staff of ten is located in Papatoetoe while two are in Wellington. Each member of staff will be giving a comment on their programme with appropriate audio to give some illustration of their work.

Explanations are given in English by Marge Sullivan, Māori aspects by Hēnare te Ua, Pacific issues by Sione Jacobsen or Malige Evile.

The Māori news is heard on Sundays at twelve minutes to six, on weekdays at seven am and before that at twenty to seven.

Those who write and present are Wiremu Kerekere, Purewa Biddle, Te Pere Curtis, Tete Tawhara, Muru Walters, and Karaka Rapata.
