Michael Walker, kina expert with Te Whakatohea/Whanau-a-Apanui links,
was the 1976 President of the Auckland University Students Association.
He received a graduate degree study award from the East-West centre
in Honolulu, Hawaii, and whilst in Honolulu will study for a Phd in Zoology.

Michael talks with Selwyn about Marine biology and population ecology of the local sea urchin, the "kina". Michael is the son of Dr Ranginui Walker.

The Auckland Committee on Racism and Discrimination in their submissions to the Royal Commision on Courts, were very critical on the manner in which the appointments to the judiciary were made.

Selwyn spoke with Dr. Oliver Sutherland and asked him to throw more
light on this issue.
