Highlights of His Royal Highness King Taufa'Ahau Tupou1V, to Te Reo
o Aotearoa studio in Papatoetoe.

- The opening speech was given by Mr. Uliti Palu, Radio Nz's first Tongan
broadcaster, he was followed by Mr. Harry Hall, acting Manager of the Auckland
Distrcit spoke on behalf of Radio NZ.

- Other speakers included Liafiola Luane spoke on behalf of the Samoan
contingent, and Mr. George Crummer on behalf of the Cook Islands, each
speaking in his mother tounge.

The final address of welcome was given by Te Reo o Aotearoa's manager
Mr. Haare Williams.

- Kaikōrero: King Taufa'Ahau Tupou IV.

the visit was of importance to all sections of Te Reo o Aotearoa and on this
basis, was used as a topic for Te Puna.
