Māori and Pacific Journalism Courses: The future of Māori and Pacific
Journalism courses is seriously in doubt. The Manukau Polytechnic Pacific
Course will close at the end of the year and the Waiariki Polytechnic Māori
Course is fighting to stay open. Manukau has twelve students and Waiariki
has seventeen.

Niue celebrates: Niuean waiata
- Niue celerates the 21st Anniversary of the adoption of the
country's constitution.This was attended by a number of overseas dignatories,
including the Heads of the Association of Small Island States who met in Niue a few days before the celebrations.
