Wellington Māori Festival.

The New Zealand Display Centre was opened all day throughout the festival, and people were able to see various displays of arts and craft.

Sunday saw six Polynesian groups take part in the sacred song concert.

- Takapuwahia choir of Porirua.

- Monday afternoon a reception was held at Ngāti Poneke for the guest parties: Turakina and Hato Paora.
- Poi waiata, this was sung as a kinaki by the girls of Turakina for their speaker Miss Delamare.

Monday evening a proms concert was presented by the two Colleges.
- Hato Paora sing : Ko te reo o Hato Paora.
- Action song : Tutira mai nga Iwi sung by combined groups of Maori trades apprentices.
- Three young girls sing : Tears will fall.
- Wellington Training college perform : Taku ripene pai.
- Cook Islanders sing: Ho atu te aroha.
- Combined groups perform: Karanga tia ra.
- Mawai Hakona sing : Tupono mai nga Hepara.
- Kaikōrero : Rev.Kingi Ihaka /kinaki : He putiputi koe.
- Ngāti Poneke & Muturangi sing : Kia Ngawari
