Opening of the Sydney Opera House: Mawai Hakona in Sydney.

- Kaikōrero: Mr. Jock McEwen, Patron of the Mawai Hakona club, and Secretary
of the Māori Affairs Dept, speaks with Wiremu Kerekere about their trip to
attend and perform at the Opening of the Sydney Opera House.

- Banabans of Fiji perform an item.
- kaikōrero: Jock McEwen/ his group perform a poi dance. It is to be noted that
Mawai Hakona welcomed Mr Hugh Watt, deputy Prime Minister of NZ and also
Madam Marcos wife of the President of the Phillipines....both these welcomes
took place at the Sydney Airport.
Jock continues with his kōrero about their trip and many performances.

- The Solomon Islanders perform an action song.
- Mawai Hakona: perform in Canberra/ E to e te ra/ Haere mai e nga Iwi o te
motu.
