South Pacific Festival of Arts:

The 1981 South Festival of Arts was held in Papua New Guinea where Wiremu
Kerekere wasn't just a representative for Radio New Zealand but also for New
Zealand as a whole.

- Wiremu Kereker explains the the opening ceremony and the wealth and
pageantry of colour and cultures intermixing during the Festival. The opening
and closing ceremonies took place at the....."Hubert Murray Stadium" Port
Morsby, Papua New Guinea........this was the 3rd South Pacific Festival of Arts.
