Continuation of Radio New Zealand's broadcast coverage of the 1990 Waitangi Day ceremonies at Waitangi, marking the 150th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty. [Tape 7 of 10 tapes.] (This event was notable for protests, including items being thrown at T\the Queen and a spontaneous speech by the Archbishop of Aotearoa on the failure by The Crown to uphold the Treaty of Waitangi.)

Commentary provided throughout by broadcasters Hēnare te Ua and Maggie Barry.

- Ceremonial welcome to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh (at this point a black flag was thrown at the Queen.)
