Bavadra, Timoci Uluivuda, 1934-1989

Doctor Timoci Bavadra, former Prime Minister of Fiji, who was deposed in a
military coup, has died. Actuality from the night he was elected as Prime
Minister when he spoke on Radio New Zealand about his hopes for a better
Fiji. One of his friends and associate, Tupeni Baba, speaks about the
mourning process for Dr Bavadra. He talks about what part the government
will play in the funeral, and what Dr Bavadra's contribution was to the
Fijian democracy movement. Mr Baba says the quest for a coalition
government will continue, and he speculates on who will be the new leader.
