Another round of reports on Otara and Mangere schools by the Education Review Office has led many media commentators to take up defensive stances against the Office.
During our research, we could not find within the plethora of written comment by print media persons, anything which drew comment from the Education Review Office. We go now to our Wellington studios and speak with the Chief Review Officer of the Education Review Office, Dr. Judith Aitken.

The 7th FESTIVAL OF PACIFIC ARTS is underway now in Western Samoa.
Held at four-yearly intervals, Pacific Nations take to the Festival a cross section of their cultural arts - songs, dances, crafts, story telling, to name a few.
Radio New Zealand's senior Pacific journalist Elma Maua is with the team covering the Festival and she joins us now by phone from APIA

Music : Hawaii was among the 26 nations which took part in Festival 1992 - 'MAIRE NUI' hosted by the Cook Islands . They sing this JON JONASSEN composition,
