Te Ururoa Flavell with Willie talking about the maiden parliamentary speech Te Ururoa gave last week that rated number one with the media, especially the top political writer for the New Zealand Herald, reporter, Audrey Young.

Months if not years of planning have gone into organising the World Indigenous Peoples Conference on Education, which was officially opened at Turangawaewae in Ngaruawahia this weekend.
Tama Potaka, a spokesperson for the organisers says the last time it was held in New Zealand was fifteen years ago, at Ngaruawahia. He said more than 10,000 people were expected to attend over the four days.
The conference, hosted by Te Wananga o Aotearoa at Waikato University, opened with a speech by Cuban Education Minister Luis Gomez Gutierrez. and will finish on Thursday with a performance by Anika Moa, Katchafire and Whirimako Black at Waikato Stadium.
Willie speaks with Dr. Manu Mayer, Harvard Educated Teacher from the University of Hawaii, who is attending the Ngaruawahia, Indigenous Peoples Conference and is a keynote speaker there.
