TRIBUTE: MATIU RATA.
Many people have been saddened by the tragedy which has fallen upon the Hon. Matiu Rata. Whanau and friends are rallying beside him as he battles for his life in hospital.
Matiu was on Whenua in April days after the Waitangi Tribunal's release of its Muriwhenua claim report. Matiu was chief negotiator.
