COALITION SYSTEM :

- Norman George's views just before the 1989 elections.....The General
Election of 1985 resulted in the formation of a coalition Goverment.

The joining of some CIP members who joined with democrats to form the
coaltion..............a lot of work was done to persuade the people it is best for
the cook Islands to stay under the "coalition system".
