Greetings from New Zealand.

'Hikurangi Maunga' which is the mountain symbolic of the prestige or mana of the tribe of Ngāti Porou who live in the surrounding district.

'E hine e', a love song composed in honour of a party of Rarotongans visiting Tokomaru Bay in 1934.

This is more of a chant than a song. It's similar to 'Humpty Dumpty'. It's also used as a deep breathing exercise: 'Tākiri tākiri'.

'Tangata kino koe', another modern action song broadly translated as 'You're a bad man'.

Finally, a song called 'Te Hokowhitu Toa' (Te Ope Tuatahi) about Māori in the First World War, where the men came from, where they fought, and where they died.
