Greetings and programme rundown.

Ngatata Love: Talks about the return of Shelly Bay, as part of the Whanganui-a-tara, Port Nicholson Treaty Settlement. Major General Mataparae signed off on behalf of the Defence Forces site that is Shelly Bay, an iconic Wellington waterfront site. An area that has been returned after 124 years and many, many generations of Taranaki Whanui people.

Stephen Tew: CEO of NZ Rugby Football Union. A pre-recorded interview with Mike King and Willie Jackson about the lack of a playing calendar for the Māori Rugby squad. NZ Rugby can no longer fund NZ Māori Rugby in this economic climate, and they do not want anyone else to fund it as well and dismiss it as out of hand.

Billy Bush: Former Māori Rugby and All Black hard man says the NZRFU are short changing Māori Rugby. Billy has suggested that private sponsorship come in behind Māori Rugby and take them on a world tour. That seems to have been dismissed as out of hand by the NZRFU. Billy reflects on some of the past tours with the Māori All Blacks. Some say that maybe an Iwi Trust should finance a World Tour. Billy also says a NZ Māori Team should be in the upcoming World Cup on the indigenous grounds seeing Samoa, Tonga, Cook Islands and Fiji have put in teams.

Pita Paraone: NZ First MP comments about the NZ First Party Meeting during the weekend to discuss the Party's future. Not a Leadership issue but a review of why they did not get to the 5% threshold last November's election. Dale opened by asking Pita why the media was banned. The question was also asked if NZ First MP Ron Mark was looking to run for Party Leadership or Co-Deputy Leadership.

Music Break:

Matiu Rei: Talks with Dale about where to now for Ngāti Toa, as they celebrate an initial Deed of settlement sign-off last week after 23 years, and he names people responsible for this success.
In addition, the issue of the iconic Ka Mate Ka Mate, haka in public is under negotiation for the Rights of Trade Mark from Ngāti Toa. A commitment from the government to explore ways of redress for the haka so there are further discussions we are pursuing with the Minister of Treaty Settlements, Hon Chris Finlayson, and the Minister of Māori Affairs, Dr. Pita Sharples.

Kim Connolly-Stone: An associate in the Māori Legal Group at Kensington Swan as an Intellectual Property Specialist and is currently working on the Ngāti Toa Claim. Kim is here to clarify some of the complex and Legal ramifications of the intellectual and copyright claims of the Ka Mate Ka Mate haka. Kim says that, "Ka Mate Ka Mate" can't be protected by existing intellectual or property rights now.

Music Break: The number one song in the world in 1975: The Average White Band, "Pick up the Pieces".

Tukoroirangi Morgan: Talks about the Te Arataura Elections over the weekend that sees three new faces on their Board.
