The Dutch government is revoking a 42-year-old immigration scheme which
allowed preferential entry and a two-year subsidy for Dutch settlers to
New Zealand.

Dutch Embassy migration attache, Willem Van der Ree, is
saddened by his government's decision to end an agreement that
encouraged nearly 40,000 Dutch people to settle in New Zealand.
