Jonathan talks about Hawaii’s position within the global cinema industry. Discusses the extent of the Hawaiian programme and the competition itself. Via Staellite is mentioned as one of the nominated films. Discusses the jury and the films screened in this years festival.

Talks about the short film selections and screenings of Peter Jackson’s Braindead, Dennis’ film Mouth Wide Open and Sima Urale’s Velvet Dreams.
