Dozens of protestors continue to occupy the Papuan governor's office, after violent protests rocked Jayapura; As thousands of West Papuans take to the streets for a second week in a row, Pacific leaders have conceded that, to date, their stance on West Papua has achieved little; Pacific travellers to and from Auckland are being warned to vaccinate against measles at least two weeks ahead of time to prevent the viral illness spreading to the region; A refugee advocate says the rapidly declining state health of people held by Australia in offshore detention is due to six years of grave neglect by authorities; New Zealand has recognised young Pacific leaders this week with the Prime Minister's Pacific Youth Awards at a cerremony at parliament in Wellington; Nauru's new president says he wants all Nauruans to have a say in the running of the country; A heavy metal band from the Solomon Islands is bucking the trend of island reggae dominance in the Melanesian country, and; Fiji, Samoa and Tonga will run onto Eden Park this weekend as they continue their preparations for the Rugby World Cup, which kicks off in just over three weeks.
