Are employers stretching the definition of 'essential service' ?
Unions concerned some employers have been requiring employees to work during the lock down, say more and more appear to now be falling into line. But Unite Union's Gerard Hehir and Mat Danaher from E Tu say there are still some employers holding out, many of them with their headquarters based in Australia.
Covid-19 cluster fears at rest homes
With a cluster is of Covid-19 cases confirmed at a Hamilton rest home and a possible cluster of cases at a rest home in Hawkes Bay what is the aged care sector doing to keep this under control? Fourteen dementia residents are in isolation at a Napier rest home after a visitor had a connection with someone who has since tested positive for the virus, while four staff at a rest home where a case was confirmed earlier this week now also have the coronavirus. Kathryn Ryan is joined by Bupa's Carolyn Cooper and Simon Wallace the chief executive of the Aged Care Association.
Resthome loses quarter of its staff to Covid 19 outbreak
Atawhai Assisi Rest Home near Hamilton has been in lockdown since a resident tested positive on Sunday. Louis Fick, chief executive of the Tamahere Eventide Trust which runs the rest home, tells Kathryn a quarter of his staff are stood-down as a result, and he is desperate for help with staffing from Immigration New Zealand.
GPs crying out for flu vaccine
Supplies of the flu vaccine have arrived in the country but many medical centres are reporting difficulties getting deliveries. One South Island practice has told us they got through their first 300 doses, and ordered more last Friday and again on Monday -but nothing has turned up. Kathryn talks with Dr Kate Baddock, Chair of the NZ Medical Association and a GP in Warkworth and Dr Nikki Turner of the Immunisation Advisory Centre.

Comedy duo on spending time with nearest and dearest
Most of us will be spending a fair bit of time with our whanau over the next four weeks. Courtney and Heta Dawson are daughter and father comedians from Auckland who know a thing or two about the unique bonds we share with our family and have even based a double act on it.
