000:15 COOK ISLANDS...ORANGES: Once a month the Government ship Maui Pomare calls at Raratonga to collect oranges picked between April and July.
There are 600 small holdings on Rarotonga, with some registered growers filling only 3 - 4 cases a year and others up to 200 cases. Growers receive 10/6d a box.
