This silent movie was originally captured on colour 16mm film and depicts the following:
Steam train (with “CLIMAX” logo) drives along tracks, a large group of people ride in two open rails car behind the train. Various views of and from the train travelling through countryside, bush and over rail bridges, some views from [modified motor vehicle travelling ahead of the train]. Train passing onlookers and photographers. Stationary train with passengers relaxing nearby for tea break. Passengers help push de-coupled rail car along fork diversion. Re-coupled, the steam train tows the rail cars in reverse. The water supply is refilled. Train and passengers continue on [return journey].
