Bailterspace are a New Zealand band who emerged from another band, “The Gordons”. They are known for their dynamic, hypnotic, wall of sound approach to guitar based music and exceedingly loud live performances. As part of the Flying Nun roster, they were seen as something that stood apart from the “Dunedin Sound” typically associated with that record label.

Bailterspace perform “Splat” from the album “Wammo” against a red wall - on which ‘Post No Bills’ is stencilled - and on a footpath (sidewalk) in New York city. This music video was shot on 16mm film and is one long take of a tracking shot played in reverse.
