At least 600 young people attend the college and this film surveys the activities they are involved in; socialising; sporting activities; pottery; craft; Maori weaving and culture. Ardmore is one of five teacher training colleges in New Zealand.
006:45 NEW CALEDONIA - CROSS OF SACRIFICE UNVEILED AT BOURAIL: An official party of New Zealand is welcomed by French Civil Authorities. Heading the visiting party is Major General the Rt Hon. Sir Harold Barraclough, Chief Justice of New Zealand and former commander of her Pacific Forces. The purpose of the visit is to unveil a memorial in the New Zealand Military Cemetery. Accompanying him is a party of Auckland-based next of kin of NZ war dead buried in New Caledonia.
