Footage taken during the cultural visit of the Tumu Korero Cultural Exchange between Kaumatua of the Cook Islands and Aotearoa. The group visit various marae in the North Island to learn about marae protocol, tikanga, whakapapa depicted in the carvings, tukutuku etc. of marae. Stories of ancestors, beliefs etc. were also exchanged during discussions between the Maori and Cook Island groups.
