Footage taken during the cultural visit of the Tumu Kōrero Cultural Exchange between Kaumātua of the Cook Islands and Aotearoa. The group visit various marae in the North Island to learn about marae protocol, tikanga, whakapapa depicted in the carvings, tukutuku etc. of marae. Stories of ancestors, beliefs etc. were also exchanged during discussions between the Māori and Cook Island groups.
