ARDMORE TEACHERS TRAINING COLLEGE 1963 & 64
“A general look at College”
Various shots taken of the airport; students attending their classes on the campus, gathering outside classrooms, groups discussions; playing their musical instruments; relaxing; cuddling; swimming and sunbathing by the pool.
“Sporting activities”
Track events; football; students parade - group follow behind banner with words ‘ Hall C’ written on it; women’s rugby match.
“A visit from Don Clarke, Peter Snell and Arthur Lydiard”
Various shots show the sports celebrities in discussion with groups; signing autographs and participating in sporting events.

The various groups demonstrate costumes and dances etc. from the following Pacific Island groups:

Students board Education Dept. buses to visits to visit different schools.
“Art Intensive group at Hunua Falls 1963”
Students with their gear, wait patiently for transport to arrive; loading gear into truck; view of the camp; students arrive by bus and all pitch in to set up camp; girls washing their hair; students outdoors around the camp area sketching; time for food, relaxation and a dip for some in the stream below Hunua Falls; time to pack up and head home again.
“A visit from The Governor General, Sir Bernard Fergusson and Lady Fergusson”
Faculty and guests mingling outside building; Sir Bernard Fergusson emerges and makes his way down to the garden where he plants a tree; Sir Bernard and Lady Fergusson are farewelled and leave the College.
“The Maori Club entertains”
Dressed in modern dress, three young ladies perform the double short poi; double long poi; young men and women combine to perform action songs.
