The Datsuns perform “Super Gyration” in a garage full of hot rods - and at least one Datsun.
"The Datsuns were friends of mine from Hamilton and I really wanted to make sure their first clip rocked and avoided Kiwi cringe. I collected favours so we could shoot the clip on 35mm however on the night before the shoot was to happen the location fell through.
“I followed some tenuous leads and ended up drinking beers in an Onehunga panel beaters workshop on a Friday night. It took some convincing (hot rod guys don't like Datsuns) but after hearing the track they agreed to bring all their cars in.
