This episode includes 3 interviews that focus on Rotorua and surrounding areas.
Sam Gardiner interviews guide Rangi of Te Arawa at her home in, Kiwi Country Rotorua. Rangi shows taiaha, patu and demonstrates working with flax and poi dances. She talks about her grandfather who carved the house that they are interviewed outside. Footage of Rangi taking tourists around Whakarewarewa and Pohutukawa Geyser. Also shows the model Māori Village and children penny divers.
The second interview is with Colin Castleton at Ngongotahā Trout Hatchery and Game Farm in Paradise Valley. Colin explains the processes involved in breeding the trout fish. He gives some statistics and explains where the trout end up - throughout New Zealand and world wide.
The third interview is with Fred Armstrong and family, waterskiing on Lake Tikitapu (also known as the Blue Lake). Shows a classic surf ski that carries 2 people and the dog.

Opening and closing scenes show New Zealand street scenes, interesting fashion references.
