“From the Auckland Town Hall, WESTFIELD STYLE PASIFIKA 2003 is an entertainment spectacular of traditional and contemporary garments, dance and music in one of the hottest fashion competitions of this year.
Reflecting the theme of Mana Pasifika, a future for all people of the Pacific of strength, respect and pride, competition categories include everything from ‘Traditionally Inspired’ garments and ‘Body Art’ to classical ‘Evening Wear’, ‘Street Wear’ and even a ‘Parent and Child’ section.
With a first prize of $20,000 including a trip to Milan, the awards have become established as one of New Zealand’s major fashion shows.
