Defence Lawyers representing six men found guilty of child sex abuse on Pitcairn Island have lost their latest appeal to free their clients. A groundbreaking new law to protect land around the Waitakere ranges from development is a step closer tonight. There were eight attacks in five cities in Iraq today, with one suicide bomber killing the official charged with putting an end to insurgent attacks. At least fifty people were killed.
