Documentary looking at the possibly of unknown and gigantic creatures living in the deep of the ocean.
Investigates t the discovery by a Japanese fishing trawler off the New Zealand coast of a giant decomposing creature in the 1970s. Photos and fibers from the creature suggested it to be an extinct dinosaur, the plesiosaur.
Looks at the way in which myths about large sea creatures have come about, the documentary suggests the creature was a basking shark (Sun Fish).
