Civil Aviation is overseeing an Air New Zealand Staff investigation into the causes of a Boeing 747 engine which blew up yesterday during takeoff at Auckland Airport, the aeroplane jettisoned fuel for an hour before landing, the passengers bound for Fiji and Los Angeles were transferred to another flight.
