Emergency landing at Auckland for a United Airlines 747 aeroplane carrying 267 passengers, a tyre burst on landing, the aircraft had been diverted to Auckland while on a direct flight from Melbourne to Los Angeles, an electrical problem blamed, fuel dumped near Fiji, the problem began soon after take-off.
